Turkish Pilots controling like ships gangway, Gyro and sailing equipments for safe sailing at Bosphorus. If ship's gangway over 9 meters or it's not replaced perfecty or any sailing equipment has fault, Pilot is refusing to onboard ships. This is causing to lose precious time of the ships. Ship Captains should be very careful. <strong>In january 2009</strong> , <strong>3436 ship </strong>passed Bosphorus. Only 1646 ships taken Turkish Pilot which It was compulsory for 1000 ships as they are calling Marmara sea ports. This mean <strong>only 650 ships </strong>asked Turkish pilots for their Bosphorus passage. <strong>In february 2009</strong> , <strong>3276 ship </strong>passed Bosphorus. Only 1488 ships taken Turkish Pilot which It was compulsory for 800 ships as they are calling Marmara sea ports. This mean <strong>only 680 </strong>ships asked Turkish pilots for their Bosphorus passage.
